STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT permitting licensing boards to conduct remote meetings.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Office of Professional Licensure and Certification; Remote Meetings Authorized.  Amend RSA 310-A:1-a by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III.  Notwithstanding RSA 91-A, the boards, commissions, and councils administered by the office of professional licensure and certification may, but shall not be required to, hold meetings by electronic or other means of communication so long as the board, commission, or council meets the following requirements:

(a)  The board, commission, or council provides public access to the meeting by telephone, with traditional access possibilities by video or other electronic means.

(b)  The board, commission, or council provides public notice of the necessary information for accessing the meeting.

(c)  The board, commission, or council provides a mechanism for the public to alert the public body during the meeting if there are problems with access.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
