AN ACT relative to naming a bridge in the town of Rumney and a bridge in the town of Center Harbor.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT relative to naming a bridge in the town of Rumney and a bridge in the town of Center Harbor.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

87:1  Joseph Gearty Memorial Bridge.  Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the bridge on Main Street in the town of Rumney, bridge number 132/070, shall be named the Joseph Gearty Memorial Bridge.  The commissioner of the department of transportation shall erect a suitable memorial marker in the right-of-way of the designated section.

87:2  David Reilly Bridge.  Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the bridge on Winona Road in the town of Center Harbor, bridge number 064/047, shall be named the David Reilly Bridge.  The commissioner of the department of transportation shall erect a suitable memorial marker in the right-of-way of the designated section.

87:3  Signage.  The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers required under this act shall not be a charge to the state.  However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers required under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.

87:4  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
