HB 1160 amends the membership of the County-State Finance Commission by allowing the DHHS commissioner the option to appoint a designee, allowing some members to continue serving until a successor is appointed, and providing the Speaker of the House with greater flexibility regarding which members the Speaker may appoint. The bill further clarifies some statutory language and amends duties of the commission.
