As amended, Senate Bill 145-FN establishes an evidence shipping pilot program, ensuring that evidence relative to a sexual assault case is delivered to the State Forensic Lab expediently. Evidence relative to a case in New Hampshire shall be delivered within seven business days and may be transited via common carrier if a law enforcement agency is unable to do so in person.
