STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT requiring reports concerning school policies on classroom recordings and in-classroom observers.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Schools; Reports on Classroom Recordings and In-classroom Observer Policies.  Amend RSA 189 by inserting after section 29-b the following new section:

189:29-c Reports Required; School Policies on Classroom Recordings and In-Classroom Observers.  The superintendent of each school district shall submit a report to the commissioner of the department of education, with an initial report due by November 1, 2022, concerning in-classroom observer policies and in-classroom audio/video streaming and recording policies. Subsequent changes to the policies shall be reported each November 1 to the commissioner of the department of education.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
